WASHINGTON, D.C. — Former U.S. President Donald Trump unveiled a sweeping and bold new immigration plan, calling for a permanent shutdown of immigration from what he described as “third-world countries” until the American system “fully recovers.”

During his remarks, Trump argued that immigration policies in recent years have undermined technological progress and pressured living standards in the United States. He vowed to reverse all unlawful entries authorized under the Biden administration, framing the issue as a matter of national security and economic stability.

Trump also pledged to deport individuals who, he said, “do not contribute to the United States or show loyalty to it,” while promising to end all federal benefits for non-citizens.

He went further, suggesting revoking citizenship from anyone deemed a threat to internal peace, and calling for the removal of those he considers an economic burden, a security risk, or “incompatible with Western civilization.”
