Walmart will expand its home delivery service. The group intends to expand InHome's service from 6 million households to 30 million US households by the end of 2022.
Launched in 2019, Walmart's InHome delivery service is designed to deliver fresh groceries, everyday essentials straight to the customer's refrigerator.
Walmart plans to hire more than 3,000 delivery people this year as well as build a fleet of all-electric delivery vans.
'Identifying ways to help and save time and money is our goal, and nothing demonstrates it better than InHome delivery, which is why we are excited to bring the InHome service to even more customers in 2022. 'said Tom Ward, vice president, last mile at Walmart US.
